- To confidentiality;
- To receive appropriate care and treatment;
- To refuse participation in data collection for purpose of research or evaluation or use of untested procedures;
- To require from the person issuing medications an explanation of use and/or side effects;
The confidentiality of patient records maintained by program are protected by Federal law and regulations unless:
- Patient consents in writing to disclose information and to whom;
- A court of law issues an order releasing information;
- Disclosure made to medical personnel in medical emergency or to other qualified person.
