- Domestic Abuse/Violence Intervention Educational Group is available to work with aggressive/ assaultive adults
- Group sessions for teens and parents who are feeling overwhelmed with life and/or are having difficulties with communication
- Therapy for children and adults who have been traumatized, i.e. sexual assault, child sexual abuse.
Many times people have a very negative stereotype about seeking mental health services. They feel that they must be going crazy if they need therapy. But reality is that if you seek mental health services for issues that are going on in your life or have gone on in your past, you are a very strong person who has made a decision that they no longer want to live life feeling the way they do and are ready to venture through change toward a new life. For those of you who have children who have been traumatized or are just having a hard time dealing with changes that life has given them, think of therapy as a way for them to learn new ways to handle life and develop a stronger relationship with you. Maybe if they don't need it, you do!
